Željko Pavlović is a violinist and Cofounder & CEO of Arvo. He comes from a family of musicians stretching back more than 200 years, started playing at the age of three, and grew up in Sarajevo. He studied at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Liège and came to the United States in 1998. His U.S. debut as a soloist with an orchestra was with the Fremont Symphony Orchestra, in the Mendelssohn Violin Concerto. He has performed as a soloist at Carnegie Hall three times. Over 14 years, he performed regularly with the Houston Symphony. His own appearances have taken him to the Kennedy Center, Vienna’s Musikverein, Venice, and London. He then spent 13 years building and operating music schools in Houston — the experience Arvo is built on.
