About

Zeljko Pavlovic began his music education at the age of three in Sarajevo, Bosnia. His greatest influence was his father—a successful musician famous throughout the region—and the family’s musical heritage stretches back two hundred years.

After surviving and escaping the Balkan wars, Mr. Pavlovic went on to attend the University of Novi Sad Academy of Arts at the early age of sixteen, which made him one of the youngest students ever to be enrolled there. He earned his master’s degree in violin performance from the Royal Conservatory of Music in Liège, Belgium, and won several national and international competitions throughout his career.

As a recitalist, he has performed throughout the United States and Europe. Having developed an equal passion for orchestral playing, Mr. Pavlovic was appointed associate concertmaster of the Duluth Superior Symphony Orchestra, and was also a member of the Louisiana Philharmonic. He performed regularly with the Houston Symphony and was honored to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York City and in the United Kingdom during the HD Odyssey Tour.

Throughout his career, he has had the privilege of sharing the stage with the Houston Symphony in performances by such legends as Tony Bennett, Lang Lang, Itzhak Perlman, Joshua Bell, Emanuel Ax, Yo-Yo Ma, Smokey Robinson, and Andrea Bocelli.

Among other accolades, Mr. Pavlovic has served on the Board of Directors for the Houston Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce, and he is currently an active member on the University of Houston’s Board of Advisors for the Small Business Development Center. He has also been honored as one of Houston’s Business Journal’s 40 under 40 in 2015, and was an honoree of the Houston Business Journal’s Most Admired CEO Award in 2020.
